Hello Pottery Lovers!
Hello and welcome! I’m Matt – the potter behind the pottery. I first started throwing as a way to find some peace – who knew what it would lead to? I now make small batches of sweet stoneware pottery from my studio in Halifax, increasingly taking on commissioned work and teaching others to enjoy the creative and centring power of spinning mud.
You can find me at markets in and around Yorkshire while I feverishly try to get an Etsy shop together to spread the pottery love even further.

Bespoke Commissions
Over the last couple of years I’ve had the joy of working with cafés and coffee roasters as well as lovely couples, families and individuals to create unique, bespoke pottery. From on brand plates and cups for small businesses, dinner sets for a new home or personalised one off gifts – each project is undertaken with care and attention to detail.

I love teaching wheel throwing and other elements of the wonderful world of ceramics. My group 6 week courses and day experiences are held at the fantastic Everybody Arts just outside Halifax (link below) and I host up to two people for throwing experiences in my own studio. Get in touch!
